"MAI PEN RAI" MEANS NEVER MIND


Speaking Thai is fun and its an easy language to learn - here is today's Lesson:



Mai Pen Rai = Never Mind

Na = Face

Rak = Love

Na + Rak = Lovely Face or "I love your face"

  1. A few years ago I had the good fortune to spend a week in Naan. What wonderful people. Toured Bangkok for a couple days and wound up kidnapped by the tuk-tuks which, at the time, I did not find particularly amusing. In retrospect it does seem as funny as my girls found it at the time.

  2. Oh yes, and I took an elephant ride. Also it was the time of year they were building their boats for the races. Got to witness some crews practicing but could not stay for the race.
