That's insanely moronic even by Obama standards. It'll cost a lot more to keep it closed than to leave it open and unstaffed. <br /><br />In fact, I recommend that most of the National Park Service be abolished; most of the maintenance can be privatized cheaper, the docents are largely volunteers anyway, and get the States to do the basic police work.
