Last paragraph: mindset, yes, essential to minimize effects of terrorist intentions.

Line troops, special ops, most law enforcement, workers in high energy high exposure jobs, so forth, all deal with the dynamic of the proximity of death.

I work around 30,000 gpm flow of sulphuric acid solutions, high voltages (4160 up to 47k volts) huge earth-moving equipment - think of trucks hauling 240 tons per trip, explosive excavation methods, and my job is not in the high danger categories that others are.

What do I do? I go to work every day. It's my job. Not sit home with tail between my legs or opt to work in a shoe store. Certainly I exercise Situational Awareness, safety in conscious thought, mindset.

We roar down the freeways at 75mph in two-ton projectiles built by the lowest bidder and think nothing of it. Those of us who shoot put a machine up to our cheek and set off 30,000 psi explosions repeatedly and ho hum, have some fun.

More of us need to put this terrorism crap in perspective.
Fear grows on the power we give it.chasmatichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14962911972107586613noreply@blogger.com
