DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET MY PISTOL ENGRAVED LIKE THIS?
I'm talking about my throwaway; my Glock of course . . . there's no way on God's Green Earth I'd deface my trusty M1911 . . . "Old SlabSides" . . . with this kind of assgrabbery . . .

Sean,
ReplyDeleteThat gun was done by Lone Wolf Distributors - http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Default.aspx The page it appears on in their website is here - http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=242 They also do all sorts of other cool stuff there ;-)
Just make sure to post pics!
I believe Hank Fleming at hankgun.com did a 1911 like that once, as well. Look for the smiling man who has a nice touch with firearms in South Austin.
ReplyDeleteRather than on the muzzle, why not engrave the barrel bushing on 'Ol Slabsides' since the bushing is easily changed? Would it be too sarcastic to have a yellow smiley face on the recoil spring plug below the muzzle?
ReplyDeleteI own a Para-Ordnance P14-45 that was actually built in Canada before they relocated to the USA. Keep up the good blogging.
Someone used to sell a 1911 recoil plug (you had to get the matching bushing, too, to keep the plug indexed upright) with an engraved and yellow enamel inlaid smiley face.
ReplyDeleteMan, I am slow. I just now got it. "Throwaway." Like that guy last week who said to throw the M1911 at the enemy and buy a Glock.
