    While I agree with the words, it does not appear that Cicero made this statement. Instead, they come from a novel based on Cicero's life. The novel was published in 1965.

    Several websites agree these are not Cicero's words. See http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Cicero among others.

    It's a good statement, nonetheless, but apparently not from Cicero.
