OOOORAH....I love it!!!!! He didn't even hesitate! Thank you Jesus for men like this, I pray that no ill will or danger affects this man's life in the days to come. Thank you Lord for the unselfish duty that these military men feel compelled to perform.
I love the Army dress blue uniform. I can still fit into mine. It dates back to the Civil War, and before that, to the Revolution.
The trousers are a lighter shade of blue than the coat. This is a relic of the old Cavalry days, when the soldiers would remove their coats and tie them across the backs of their saddles. The trousers would fade faster than the coat, hence the lighter shade of blue.
The duty the Tomb guards perform is the Epitome of Honor. Arlington is where the Soul of our Nation resides.
