150 TIME MORE LIKELY TO BE MURDERED

Lunar Spook reports - Hey Sean, I was reading through UNCLASSIFIED research conducted on the phenomenon of Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF)-committed fratricide-murder of US Soldiers and found this:

". . . during the last six months (NOV2010-APR2011) Westerners stationed within Afghanistan's N2KL region (Nangahar, Nuristan, Kunar and Laghman provinces) who regularly interact and/or train with ANSFs have been OVER 150 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE MURDERED by an ANSF member than a US police officer is to be murdered in the line of duty by ANY perpetrator; this excludes the additional risk associated with regular combat for these coalition members."

The researcher looked into the root cause of these killings. His findings support his original hypothesis - culture is the primary flash point, not "sleeper cells" and insurgent double agents" as many have claimed, instead Afghans report US Advisors, largely non-SOF, have offended them greatly in many ways, but mostly areas concerning culture, religion and acceptable societal behavior.
