One Week Later Residents Of New York and New Jersey Still Living In Fear And Darkness
Many neighborhoods are still without power nearly a week after Hurricane Sandy struck. While parts of the greater New York megalopolis are slowly coming back to life, many say their situation is virtually unchanged.
While the waters have receded, people say they fear for their safety in dark buildings and are in desperate need of heat as the temperatures begin to drop.
Looters roam the area, emboldened by the breakdown of law and order, and the inability of people to defend themselves, thanks to draconian anti-gun laws.
"Anybody who expects the Government will take care of them needs to look at the plight of the American Indian."
The above is a quote from an old Sergeant Major of mine in Special Forces - he was a full-blooded Payute.

ReplyDeleteOne more day before we can vote and, hopefully, get Obama out of office. I saw a poster I like very much that said, "Change your clocks on Saturday and your president on Tuesday."
