    Better Indian eateries around in Little India (I especially recommend the Sri Anandhem down from the corner of Serangoon and Dickson. Say hi to Vijay the mad waiter if he's still there.

    And do not miss cili crab at Newton's Circus! After all, it's only 400m up from where Bukit Timah and Cavenaugh cross on your map there...
