A close friend near Ramat Aviv, Israel reports: 5 rockets just fired at Tel Aviv; all 5 intercepted by Iron Dome. Our first time in the car during an alert--everyone pulls off the road and huddles under trees on the shoulder . . .
. . . we were less than a mile from home. The noise of the explosion was huge.

If this had happened to an American city once, let alone for 10-15 years, we wouldn't be debating using Iron Dome vs. sending F-15s.
