How many times do you go to a gun store/indoor range and see these on-site arrogant A-holes whose claim to fame is that they can open carry in the store and they are SMEs simply because they are behind the counter?
"That's how you lose business, walk into a gun store and some POSER giving you the stink eye. Fuck you I'll take my business elsewhere."
Well, fuck it. I'm going to be unique. I'll just claim I was a leg truck driver, or a spoon. Spent my 3 years active duty shoveling shit in Louisiana. Ever in your life hear some guy at the bar make that claim?
STORMBRINGER SENDS
I was a cook. I did go to Viet Nam for 16 months. I was never even around any spec ops. So there. That's all folks. No claim to fame.
ReplyDeleteI'll one up ya. I was a office worker posing as a Marine. Later I became a scumbag truck driver, got fat eating chow hall food and ran Iraq convoy unarmed, in a unarmored truck for most of the war. My employer hated us, my co workers hated us and the soldiers hated us. The Iraqis either wanted to rob us or kill us. I was in it for the money. So fuuu
DeleteHere is a funny story. I was one of the few women flying fighters in the Navy in the 1980's in aggressor squadrons. On det we would don our girl clothes before hitting the o club. It was always fun to twirl your hair in your finger, ask the guy with NFO wings if he was a pilot and if it was scary to fly, and listen to him give the bs story. It was even more fun to see them at the brief the next day squirming in their seat!
ReplyDeleteOk let it out Sean. It will be ok. Uncle 3rdman is here for you. For the record I have not gone to a public range since they said I shoot to fast, but hey their rules. So I do not shoot there anymore. One more thing "SME" I am only guessing here but are you say "Subject Matter Expert". Sometimes I can be slow!!!! A-hole I got pretty quick.
ReplyDeleteSo great a post that I left the reader to see the comments. Arrogance is unAmerican unless in defense of human liberty
