A popular feature here on STORMBRINGER is busting out the phony wannabes - this site even helped track this guy to ground - but this latest freak was so bold he takes phony-ism to a whole 'nother level . . . not good enough to be a phony wannabe poser - he stood up a whole PRIVATE ARMY:
CHINESE MAN ACCUSED OF CREATING FAKE ARMY SF UNIT
April 13, 2011 Associated Press
POMONA, Calif - A Chinese national who said he was the "Supreme Commander" of a made-up Army unit orchestrated an elaborate scheme that attracted recruits and their money with the promise that it was a path to U.S. citizenship, authorities allege.
I think I like this guy's style:
"Uh, excuse me there, Your Majesty, but exactly what rank are you?"
"Supleeme Commandah. I a Supleeme Commandah Special Foss. You can car me Supah."
Yupeng Deng, who is accused of raking in hundreds of dollars from his recruits, is set to be arraigned Wednesday on more than a dozen charges.
Los Angeles County prosecutors said Deng, also known as David Deng, recruited 100 other Chinese nationals, primarily in Asian enclaves in the San Gabriel Valley, to join the "U.S. Army / Military Special Forces Reserve unit," then gave them phony U.S. Army uniforms and military ID cards.
The 51-year-old El Monte man is accused of charging the recruits initiation fees ranging from $300 to $450, with renewal fees set at $120 a year.
The recruits were instructed to report to Deng's office in Temple City, which was decorated to look like an official military recruiting center, to undergo military training and indoctrination, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said. They marched in a parade in Monterey Park and took a tour of the U.S. Midway Museum in San Diego, all in uniform.
San Diego's a HUGE military town - somebody HAD to have seen these clowns and wondered What the Hell is going on?"
Deng was charged with 13 counts of theft by false pretenses, manufacturing deceptive government documents and counterfeit of an official government seal. He faces more than eight years in state prison if convicted.
Deng was arrested by agents with the FBI and U.S. Department of Defense on a felony complaint filed Monday.
Federal investigators began looking into Deng more than two years ago when they received reports from police who recovered counterfeit military IDs from some of Deng's recruits during traffic stops, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.
When Deng sent his recruits renewal forms for their bogus military IDs, some showed up at real Army facilities to pay them, she said.
Oh I would have LOVED to have been a fly on the wall when THAT madness went down!
"Whaddya mean -
WE DON'T GET NO SCUBA PAY ? ? ?"

CAN ANYBODY VERIFY THIS?
Missouri Ahead of the Game in Dealing with Illegal Immigrants
Note: The following appeared in the May 13 issue of The Ozarks Sentinal and is purported to be written by State Representative Nita Jane Ayres.
Nita Jane Ayres has agreed to write a follow-up editorial which will appear in our print edition on June 24. The follow-up will take a close look at the state's legislation and how it deals with illegal immigrants.
We're down to one week to go in the legislative session and bills are moving through the process at a remarkable pace. My goal is to keep you updated on all the pieces of legislation that may be of interest to you and your family. In the coming weeks, I hope to do that. However, this week I want to talk about an issue that Missouri has already addressed in a variety of ways the issue of illegal immigration. I'm sure you've seen the headlines about Arizona's new law aimed at dealing with those who enter our country illegally. It has been called the strictest immigration law in generations. While Missouri hasn't gone to the same lengths as Arizona, our state has made significant policy changes that effectively deal with illegal immigrants who enter our state. Because of those changes, Missouri is ahead of the game when compared to many other states that are now dealing with this issue.
In 2007, the Missouri General Assembly approved HJR 7 to place on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri. Voters then went to the polls and approved the measure with nearly 90 percent voting in favor. With that, English became the official language for all governmental proceedings in Missouri. It also means no individual has the right to demand government services in a language other than English. A common language is the cornerstone of a cohesive and united state and country. Ensuring that English is our official language is simply common sense.
Another measure that directly addresses the issue of illegal immigration was passed in 2008. HB 1549 requires our Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be here illegally. It also allows Missouri law enforcement officers to receive training to enforce federal immigration laws. Furthermore, the bill makes it clear that illegal immigrants will not have access to taxpayer benefits such as food stamps and health care through MO HealthNet. With the passage of this legislation, Missouri sent a clear message that illegal immigrants are not welcome in our state, and that they are certainly not welcome to receive public benefits at the cost of Missouri taxpayers.
2009 saw another significant piece of legislation passed dealing with illegal immigration. HB 390 ensures Missouri's public institutions of higher education do not award financial aid to individuals who are here illegally. The law also requires all postsecondary institutions of higher education to annually certify to the Missouri Department of Higher Education that they have not knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States. The bill represents another common sense approach to the issue as it ensures taxpayer dollars are not used to subsidize the education of someone who is in our country illegally.
So while Arizona has made national news for its new law, it's important to remember Missouri has been proactive in addressing this growing problem. The laws we have on the books help ensure the rights and benefits of Missourians are preserved for actual Missouri citizens. It's also important to remember that this country has always opened its arms to immigrants, which is why our nation is often referred to as the great melting pot. Immigrants from all parts of the world have helped make our country what it is today. However, our doors are not open to those who try to live in our country illegally. I believe Missouri's laws make that very clear and give our law enforcement officials the authority they need to deal with the problem.

THE NEW IMMIGRATION LAWS

This is a condensed version of the Immigration Laws:
#1. Ensures that foreign visitors and immigrants are in the country legally.
#2. Foreign visitors and immigrants MUST have the means to sustain themselves financially.
#3. Foreigners wishing to immigrate must PROVE they will not become a burden on society.
#4. Foreign visitors and immigrants must be of economic and social benefit to society.
#5. Foreign visitors and immigrants must be of good character and have no criminal record.
#6. Foreigners wishing to immigrate must be able to contribute to the general well-being of the nation.
The law also ensures that:
A) Immigration authorities will maintain a record of each foreign visitor and immigrant.
B) Foreign visitors will not violate their status.
C) Foreigners are banned from interfering in the country's internal politics.
D) Foreigners who enter the country under false pretenses will be imprisoned or deported.
E) Those who aid in illegal immigration will be prosecuted and sent to prison.
WOAH! A little harsh don't you think?
But WAIT! These are the immigration laws of the country of MEXICO!

Personally, I don't see what is all the fuss about ARIZONA.

NEW IMMIGRANTS
This was sent in by a friend of a friend whose family fled Germany & Hungary via Yugoslavia during WWII and arrived at Ellis Island; proud to be a second generation American and grateful his grandparents & great-grandparents were able to escape the Holocaust.
The other side of his family history dates back to the late 1700s when David Tygart (his sister and future brother-in-law) arrived in Yorktown, Virginia as prisoners. They had been exiled for fighting against religious persecution in Great Britain. They did not stay put in Yorktown, but moved throughout northern Virginia establishing settlements for the new colonists that were coming to the 'New World.' David is credited with settling what is now called West Virginia.
As an immigrant myself who arrived in this country with a suitcase and made good, I am extremely proud to post these photos. However, looking at the last two photos on this post brings to mind two things: . . . deep sea diving and shark bait!
- Sean Linnane

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like why today's American is not willing to accept these new kind of immigrants any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented.

Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They waved goodbye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out; they fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French American, the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. We carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.
That's not what being an American is all about. The immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. They would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And as for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

US BORDER INVASION FOOTAGE
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says Mexican violence has NOT spilled across the border . . .

. . . tell it to murdered border area cattle rancher Rob Krentz - shot and killed Saturday March 27th by a suspected illegal alien in Arizona.

An investigation is pending, but early reports tell of a drug bust on the Krentz Ranch the day before the murder. Krentz like many border residents frequently calls in citizen reports on suspicious activity resulting in apprehensions and drug load seizures.
There is renewed importance in documenting smuggling activity along our porous border with Mexico. In the last few months alone we have seen videos and images showing large scale and heavily armed smuggling operations taking place in broad daylight several miles inside the United States.
The following video is a close range record of over 700 suspected illegal aliens on just one trail in a 40 day period. Day or night, rain or snow, they just keep walking north completely undetected by anyone but other than those who place these cameras. The video is 7 minutes long, there is no sound, but it's worth watching.
700 illegal aliens. No wonder the violence is increasing.
