China has witnessed a series of school attacks in recent years, most blamed on people with personal grudges or suffering from mental illness, leading to calls for improved security.
Two weeks ago a mentally ill man hacked to death a second grader and an elderly woman with a meat cleaver in southern Guangxi, and injured five other people.

Well, hell, they can fix that.
ReplyDeleteAll they need to do is register all the meat cleavers and run background checks on all the butchers.

Seems the more things change the more they stay the same.
The day guns are outlawed is the day that freedom dies. Only in a land where it’s citizens have a right to defend their life and family are you truly free.
ReplyDeleteDon't tell me that is why we have Police departments, I had that job for many years and all too often we arrived too late to prevent the tragedy.
If you think that you a protected by our Government jump in your BMW, put on your Rolex, roll down your windows and drive casually through that part of town where all of the fine wall art is displayed. I am sure that the Bloods, Crips and other sets will gladly give up all of the illegally obtained guns and other weapons and welcome you in to their neighborhood. You can explain how you value cultural diversity in our neighborhoods and how you understand the hardships they have endured while they are raping your wife and daughter.
Life is not a tv show and although I am proud to have servered with the men and women of law Enforcement, criminal will not head gun and weapon restrictions.
Just look at our jails, no guns in there and murders happen all too often.
