BUSTED: GABBY GIFFORDS WITH AR-15

Another Liberal hypocrite busted . . .

In response to the exploitative political scheming of Mark Kelly, persons connected to Congresswoman Giffords released this photo in response to what they perceived to be her husband’s hypocrisy.

Mark Kelly’s campaign against “assault weapons” such as the AR-15 rifle has sparked a local backlash. On March 13, a Tucson, Arizona radio host published a photograph of former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords holding an AR-15 rifle at a gun range. Giffords has since confirmed that the photograph is authentic.

Subsequently, Breitbart News confirmed the authenticity of the image through law enforcement sources in Arizona, and obtained a copy of the photograph from a source who requested anonymity.

The latter source was present when the photograph was taken, and said that Giffords had requested it for campaign purposes during October 2010.

According to the source, the image sent to Breitbart News was cropped to protect the identity of the person on the right-hand side of the original photograph (to Giffords’s left).

The source, who is a member of the law enforcement community, told Breitbart News:

“We were told she wanted to toughen her image. She asked to come out and she wanted to shoot a rifle. She had one of our guys out there to show her how to shoot an AR-15.”

In January 2011, Giffords suffered near-fatal wounds in a mass shooting while meeting with constituents in Tucson. The perpetrator used a 9mm Glock 19 semi-automatic pistol.

Giffords and husband Mark Kelly have since formed an organization, Americans for Responsible Solutions, to press for policy changes such as limiting the sale of “assault weapons, ” including the AR-15.

  1. Hm, I'm going to try an exercise in critical thinking.
Is this really a scene of hypocrisy or is it an old position and through subsequent events she has changed that position?
Can you really hold a person to a stance throughout their life? Or can you allow that perosn to have a change of heart?
If the person was a flaming liberal and then had a conversion to conservative; would you always hold that person to her previous liberal ideals?
Yeah, yeah I know the conservative meme is to blast away at the hypcrits; I just htink we need to be careful in how we tar and feather people.

    1. Well, we all know that liberals can never, ever be hypocrites no matter how wildly their personal or political lives contradict what comes out of their mouths, so I suppose that answers your question.

Yeah, I know the liberal meme is to attack, attack, attack conservatives for hypocrisy while ignoring their own instances, but one might think that if they had the slightest bit of decency or honesty they'd "be careful in how [they] tar and feather people." That is, if as a group they had even the slightest hint of self-awareness. Sad, really.

  2. Yeah, I hear ya Jorg. Sometimes I wonder if the liberals really are a part of the "Borg". I seldom have seen a liberal that was able to critically think their way around an issue.
I'm beginning to believe the concept that progressive liberals are a religious entity. In fact they are beginning to sound a lot like muslims in their heartfelt rhetoric.

  3. You can't persuade someone to think their way out of a position they didn't think themselves into in the first place.

This is why logic fails on liberals.

If Giffords, or her male wife, wants to first do a mea culpa for that picture, and walk back that position, acknowledging that she shamelessly pandered for votes using an eeeeeeevil assault weapon, and that only after her head was nearly blown off did she see the light and the error of her ways as a political vote-whore, THEN we can talk about how her Gun Position 2.0 is a heartfelt, authentic, and deeply held conviction, rather than just an old whore turning new tricks.

But seriously, a congresswoman lying? Twice??
Stop the presses! Round up the usual suspects!
