POSSIBLE TERRORIST THREAT

JUAN WILLIAMS AND THE FALLACY OF RACIAL PROFILING

Unless you just came out of a coma, or like myself have just emerged from a week-long barrel ride over the falls; then you're aware of course of the remarks that Juan Williams made on Bill O'Reilly's show that resulted in his termination from NPR:

"I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”



What we have here, remarkably enough, is a black liberal endorsing the concept of racial profiling.

This attitude is backed one of this country's leading experts on race, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, about 18 years ago; "There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery . . . then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."

We are used to the hypocrisy of the Left, of course. The same personalities of that clucking hen show The View who walked out on Bill O'Reilly for having the audacity to declare that the Ground Zero Mosque is innapropriate because, "Muslims killed us on 9/11," now rush to Juan William's defense. Whoopi Goldberg said this of Williams: “I don’t think he should have been fired, because, in fact . . . lots of people have this idea,”

It may or may not surprise you to learn that as a security professional, I do not endorse the concept of racial profiling. People deplore the security procedures at our airports - "Why does a 100-year-old grandmother have to take off her shoes and be subject to the same searches as an Arab male of military age?"

I'll tell you why. Consider; up until the events of September 11th, 2001, the worst terrorist attack in North America - and one of the worst in world history - was the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . . .




. . . an atrocity perpetrated by THESE individuals:


Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols don't fit the mental image most Americans have of terrorists.

Perhaps you recall that in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing, immediate suspicions fell upon the Arab & Pakistani populations in and around Deerborn, Michigan? In fact, this was partially McVeigh's & Nichol'S motivation - inspired by The Turner Diaries, McVeigh's goal was to kick-start a race war within the United States.

Then there's THIS guy:

The traitor Adam Gadahn - American-born self-convert to Islam, the al Qaeda Minister of Propaganda; now deceased thanks to Predator Drone.

Then there's THESE lovely personalities:

The Chechens are not Arabs, they are Caucasians. Some of them are blond haired and blue-eyed, and as anybody who has faced them down in combat will tell you, they are a THOUSAND TIMES more lethal than any Arab, any day.

Now back to that 100-year old grandmother, going through the security line at the airport - SHE's not of military age, she's OBVIOUSLY not a terrorist - why should SHE have to take off her shoes, then be lifted out of her wheelchair and be subjected to the humiliating search train?

I'll tell you why - and I'll tell you how anyone can be turned into a terrorist, no matter what their age, race, sex or skin color. All the bad guys have to do is rock on up to Grandma's house and show her a video of her lovely 4-year-old granddaughter they're holding at gunpoint, and tell her that before they kill the child they're going to rape her in every hole, and . . . you get the point.

Bottom Line: racial profiling against Muslim males is not security, it is the ILLUSION of security. The enemy knows we're on heightened alert for dark Arab males of a certain age; and this is precisely WHY we should be on alert for the blond-haired, blue-eyed All-American types . . .

. . . or little old ladies in wheelchairs.

Shariah a Danger to US, Security Pros Say

A panel of national security experts who worked under Republican and Democratic presidents is urging the Obama administration to abandon its stance that Islam is not linked to terrorism, arguing that radical Muslims are using Islamic law to subvert the United States. In a report set for release today, the panel states that "it is vital to the national security of the United States, and to Western civilization at large, that we do what we can to empower Islam's authentic moderates and reformers."

The study group, sponsored by the conservative-oriented Center for Security Policy, says in its report that proponents of advancing Islamic law mark the "crucial fault line" in Islam's internal divisions separating truly moderate Muslims, like the late Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid, from the large portion of the world's 1 billion Muslims who advocate imposing what they call Shariah law throughout the world. Mr. Wahid, who died in December, is a widely respected Muslim visionary who promoted pluralism in Indonesia, which has the world's largest population of Muslims.

According to the report, proponents of Shariah are "Muslim supremacists" waging "civilization jihad" along with the Islamist terrorists engaged in violent jihad, like al-Qaida. The 19-member study group was led by retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence in the George W. Bush administration, and retired Army Lt. Gen. Harry E. Soyster, Defense Intelligence Agency director from 1988 to 1991. Included in the team of former defense, law enforcement and intelligence officials were Clinton administration CIA Director R. James Woolsey and Andrew C. McCarthy, former assistant U.S. attorney in New York, a career counterterrorism prosecutor during the Clinton administration. Frank Gaffney, director of the Center for Security Policy, said the Obama administration's policy is based on an incorrect assumption.

The Team B report seeks to expose flaws in anti-terror programs, including the policy of not referring to al-Qaida and similar groups as "Islamist" to avoid offending Muslims, he said. "What if it turns out that some of the people the Obama administration has been embracing are actually promoting the same totalitarian ideology and seditious agenda as al-Qaida, only they're doing it from White House Iftar dinners?" said Mr. Gaffney, referring to the daily meal eaten by Muslims to break their fast during Ramadan.

The group of experts was modeled after the official CIA Team B, whose 1976 contrary analysis said U.S. intelligence assessments had underestimated Soviet nuclear forces. That Team B report led to the military buildup under the Reagan administration. John Brennan, deputy White House national security adviser for counterterrorism, told The Washington Times in June that he disagrees that "there is an Islamic dimension to terrorism."

The administration's policy of not using the word Islam and its derivatives to describe today's fundamentalist terrorists is aimed at "not according these individuals any religious legitimacy," he said. A White House spokesman could not be reached for comment on the report or the administration's policy on political Islam.

Mr. Gaffney said the report concludes that U.S. government programs aimed at reaching out to Muslim groups that promote Shariah law "is not political correctness, it's submission." The administration's failure to understand the Islamist nature of the terrorist threat is "inviting more violent jihad against this country," Mr. Gaffney said.

The report calls for a campaign against radical Islamists following the model used against communist ideology and activities during the Cold War, including infiltrating foreign-supported jihad groups by the FBI and other aggressive security measures. "Today, the United States faces what is, if anything, an even more insidious ideological threat: the totalitarian socio-political doctrine that Islam calls Shariah," the report says. "Though it certainly has spiritual elements, it would be a mistake to think of Shariah as a 'religious' code in the Western sense because it seeks to regulate all manner of behavior in the secular sphere — economic, social, military, legal, and political."

The Team B report calls for developing a "counter-strategy" to Islamist ideology, but notes that understanding the nature of the enemy is a critical first step. "That cannot be done by following the failed strategy of fictionalizing the state of Islam in the vain hope that reality will, at some point, catch up to the benign fable," the report says. "Empowering the condign elements of Islam requires a candid assessment, which acknowledges the strength of Shariah — just as defeat of 20th century totalitarian ideologies required an acknowledgment of, and respect for, their malevolent capabilities."

The Shariah system is "totalitarian" and incompatible with the U.S. Constitution's guarantees of democratic lawmaking, freedom of conscience, individual liberty and freedom of expression, including the right to analyze and criticize Shariah law, the report states. The report cites the 1991 document from the Muslim Brotherhood in North America describing a covert process of Islamic "settlement" in the United States.

The plan is to carry out a "grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated," the document stated. The Egyptian-origin Muslim Brotherhood is the most important entity promoting Islamic supremacism, the report says.

Republican and Democratic administrations failed to understand the ideological nature of the terrorist enemy, the report says, including its ultimate goal of reinstating a totalitarian Islamic caliphate with Shariah imposed globally.

9-11 NINE YEARS ON

SO MUCH TOOK PLACE ON THAT DAY IN SEPTEMBER . . . so much has happened since . . .

The coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania (after passengers and flight crew attempted to retake control of the plane).

The death toll of the attacks was 2,996, including the 19 hijackers - may they burn forever in Hell.

The attacks initiated the current War on Terror: U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan, the passing of the USA PATRIOT Act, and the subsequent invasion of Iraq. As of August 31, 2010, there have been, 4410 U.S. military dead. 31,844 wounded in action in Iraq (Operation Enduring Freedom), and 1,985 coalition deaths in Afghanistan as part of ongoing coalition operations (Operation Enduring Freedom and ISAF) since the invasion in 2001.



On June 01 2009, Pvt. William Andrew Long was shot and killed by Abdulhakim Muhammad, while standing unarmed outside a recruiting facility in Little Rock AR.




The U.S. government and their official propaganda organ a.k.a. the Mainstream Media claims that this was the first attack on U.S. soil and first U.S. casualty on U.S. soil since the War on Terror began. This is an incredible oversight, when we consider the following attacks and incidents that have taken place on U.S. soil and U.S. aircraft since 9-11:

The 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on September 18, 2001, one week after the September 11 attacks. Letters containing anthrax spores were mailed to several news media offices and two Democratic U.S. Senators, killing five people and infecting 17 others. The ensuing, unsolved investigation became "one of the largest and most complex in the history of law enforcement."

On December 22, 2001, Richard Colvin Reid, a.k.a. the Shoe Bomber, attempted to blow American Airlines Flight 63 out of the sky with plastic explosives concealed in his shoes. Reid, a self-admitted member of al-Qaeda, pled guilty in 2003 in U.S. federal Court to eight criminal counts of terrorism.



The Shoe Bomber is currently serving a life sentence without parole in a super-max security prison in the United States.



The Washington sniper attacks took place during three weeks in October 2002 in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Ten people were killed and three others critically injured in various locations throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area and along Interstate 95 in Virginia. The rampage was perpetrated by John Allen Muhammad, and a minor he had influence over, Lee Boyd Malvo. The pair conducted the random killings from the trunk of a specially-modified 1990 Chevrolet Caprice sedan. The terror operation apparently began a month earlier with murders and robbery in Louisiana and Alabama, which had resulted in three deaths.



On November 10, 2009, Muhammad was executed by lethal injection - long may he rot in Hell - his accomplice Malvo was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.


INSTRUMENTS OF DEATH: The DC Sniper's "SniperMobile" and weapon of choice, an accurized M-16/M-4 variant.


In the November 5, 2009 shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, the traitor U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan turned on his own countrymen, killing 13 people and wounding 30.

Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, an American-born Muslim of Palestinian descent.

Hasan was a serving U.S. Army medical officer, a psychiatrist. During his attack he was shot by Department of the Army Civilian Police officers, and is now paralyzed from the chest down. Good. Hasan has been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted murder under the Uniform Code of Military Justice; he may face additional charges at court-martial.

The shootings have since often been mentioned as one of a number of attacks linked to Yemen, Anwar al-Awlaki or Al Qaeda, including the Christmas 2009 airline bombing attempt and an inspiration for the Times Square bombing. Although Awalki has not yet been charged with any specific crime in any one incident, Awlaki has since been deemed enough of a security threat to have been targeted by the United States government for killing or capture.


Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to detonate plastic explosives hidden in his underwear while on board Northwest Airlines Flight 253, en route from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan, on December 25, 2009.

Reports indicate that burns Umar suffered as a result of trying to ignite explosives in his underwear, completely burned off his penis and testicles; if this is true then Justice has been served, in this case like Cajun blackened chicken.

Instead of being treated as an unlawful enemy combatant, Umar Farouk, a Muslim Nigerian citizen and self-described al Qaeda operative, was charged on six criminal counts, including attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempted murder of 289 people. He is in U.S. custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.


Then of course there was the Times Square Bomber, whose operation followed close on the heels of the Underwear Bomber:

On May 1, 2010, a car bomb was discovered by New York City Police in Times Square, after smoke was spotted coming from a vehicle. The bomb had been ignited, but failed to explode, and was disarmed before it caused any casualties.


30-year-old Muslim Faisal Shahzad, a U.S. citizen born in Pakistan, admitted attempting the car bombing, and said that he had trained at a Pakistani terrorist training camp.

United States Attorney General Eric Holder said that Shahzad's intent had been "to kill Americans". Shahzad was charged in federal court in Manhattan on May 4 with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and other federal crimes related to explosives. More than a dozen people were arrested by Pakistani officials in connection with the plot.


ENEMY OPERATIONS INTERDICTED:

The Buffalo Six (known primarily as Lackawanna Six, but also the Lackawanna Cell, or Buffalo Cell) is a group of six Yemeni-American childhood friends who were convicted of providing material support to al-Qaeda, based on the fact they had attended an Al Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan together in the Spring of 2001. They are: Mukhtar Al-Bakri, Sahim Alwan, Faysal Galab, Shafal Mosed, Yaseinn Taher, and Yahya Goba. All six are American citizens.


The 2007 Fort Dix attack plot involved a group of six radical Islamist men who conspired to stage an attack against US Military personnel stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The alleged aim of the group was to "kill as many soldiers as possible".

The men were arrested by the FBI on May 8, 2007 and were prosecuted in federal court. On December 22, 2008, five were found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in their intentions to kill US military personnel; four received life sentences while one received 33 years in prison. The remaining member was thought to have a minor role in the plot and was sentenced to five years in prison for weapons offenses.

Three of the conspirators; Dritan Duka (age 28), Shain Duka (26) and Eljvir Duka (23) ethnic Albanians from the Republic of Macedonia, entered the United States illegally through Mexico in October 1984.



Regarding the earlier mentioned killing of Private Long, at the Recruiting Center in Little Rock, Arkansas:



Asked whether he considered the shootings at the recruiting center an act of war, Muhammad said "I didn't know the soldiers personally, but yes, it was an attack of retaliation. And I feel that other attacks, not by me or people I know, but definitely Muslims in this country and others elsewhere, are going to attack for doing those things they did," especially desecrating the Quran.


Abdulhakim Muhammad, 23, wanted revenge for claims that American military personnel had desecrated copies of the Quran and killed or raped Muslims.


The great Global War on Terror has since been re-named "Overseas Contingency Operations" by the current Administration. This is political correctness, of course; the United States has been under attack by Islamic terrorists since at least the Iranian Hostage Crisis of the late 1970s. In the spring of 2005 I attended a CIA briefing where the speaker stated that "GWOT" was a misnomer, due to the fact that we are not at war against 'Terror' per se; Terror is simply a tactic, and we do not make war against tactics. The enemy, he stated, is Fundamentalist Islam.

HOW DO WE FIGHT THEM?

Consider: if we had lost World War II, we would have been held accountable for war crimes, for vaporizing the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and firebombing of Tokyo and Dresden down to the ground, and for taking apart Hamburg and Stuttgart, brick by brick.

But we won - against armies of dedicated fanatics inspired by their charismatic leaders and their ends-justifies-the-means ideology. And the way we won was by vaporizing cities, burning them down to the ground and taking them apart brick by brick.

Now we are involved in another global conflict, that has the capability to morph into a greater threat to Western civilization than Fascism was in the thirties and the forties, if we let it. Inspired by their morally bankrupt ideology, our enemies seem willing to sacrifice themselves as human weapons systems. They strap explosives to their bodies in order to take out as many 'infidels' as possible and get access to those 72 Virgins waiting for them up in Muslim Heaven. And for every one of them we take out, ten or more seem willing to step up to take his place.


It's the ultimate game of Whack-a-Mole


How do we fight such an enemy?


Easy.


Think back a minute to World War II; we faced fanatical enemies then. But consider how relieved those self-same fanatics were when the shooting stopped and they realized they'd just been given a second chance at life. Members of the Waffen SS, of the Japanese Kamikaze Corps, were so relieved when it became apparent they were no longer required to give their lives for a cause that was so obviously hopeless.

This just goes to show how truly rare a thing a true fanatic is. Nietzche wrote of an ideal that doesn't really exist in daily life.

Proof positive is the modern phenomena of the Islamist terrorist suicide bomber.



The individuals carrying out these attacks are actively recruited, heavily indoctrinated, and then drugged immediately prior to carrying out their suicide missions. Beyond the spiritual rewards in the afterlife and the guarantee of a place with God for the attacker's families, there are social, cultural and material incentives including vast celebrity, cash bonuses and/or free apartments. Saddam Hussein had a reimbursement program where the family of every Palestinian suicide bomber was paid up to $25,000 for a successful mission:



This materialistic aspect of the rewards program is very telling; this represents a chink in the armor of the Islamic terrorists' fanaticism.

Deny the enemy this aspect of their recruitment program, and watch their pool of willing volunteers dry up.

I suggest that, just as World War II evolved from a war of maneuver on the battlefield to a 'war of the cities'; we adopt a similar strategy of attrition. Basically; "You kill one of ours, we kill ten thousand of yours."

There is no reward for your family. Basically, the result of a suicide terrorist attack will be the elimination of your family or tribe three generations back, and the utter destruction of your town or village right down to the foundation stones.

Very quickly we will see our 'fanatical' enemies lose their ardor for engagement with the infidel. If we had adopted such a strategy after the taking of our embassy in Tehran in 1979, after the Beirut bombing in 1983, or after Mogadishu in 1993, we certainly wouldn't be having half the problems we're having with Islamic Fundamentalists we are having now.


A basic truism of the Philosophy of STORMBRINGER is that if you find yourself in a war, the stupidest thing to do is anything other than whatever it takes to win it. And if you're going to fight a war, you can't half-step it; that's what we did in Vietnam and we all know how far that got us.


But what about the widows and orphans we will have created? Won't they be willing to pick up the struggle, for vengeance, and out of a sense of purposelessness after having lost their complete social support structure?

We're creating them already, anyway - there must be a Civic Action program in place to assist the victims of war (which there already is) - and an effective Psychological Operation campaign spreading the correct themes that we help good Muslims - Kuwait in 1990-91, the Kurds during the same time frame, Bosnia 1995-97, Kosovo 1999, the liberation of Afghanistan 2002, the liberation of Iraq 2003, the relief programs in Indonesia and Malaysia following the tsunami of 2004, ongoing relief programs in Muslim countries around the world.

We can even point out our President has a Muslim name, that he comes from a Muslim family:



Educate them against the hatred and lies the mullahs spread in the madrassas; show them how many Muslims have perished at the hands of Islamist-inspired suicide attacks. Then show them the greatness and goodness of civilization and invite them to come to the table. A free-passage program, an excuse to abandon a futile cause.

We're talking the ultimate carrot-and-stick campaign. Come over to us, you can be a Muslim but you don't have to kill yourself and other Muslims, and you get all the good stuff. Strap bombs to yourself and your entire world comes to an end - for you, your family, for everybody.

Man Attempts to Set Off Explosives on Detroit-Bound Airplane


The man said he was directed by al Qaeda to explode a small device in flight, over U.S. soil.


The device went off as Northwest Airlines Flight 253, an Airbus 330 carrying 278 passengers and operated by Delta, was arriving in Detroit from Amsterdam.




The suspect was identified as Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, who according to federal documents is an engineering student at University College of London.

Federal law enforcement authorities are trying to determine the credibility of Abdulmutallab's story; i.e. IS he an Al Qaeda operative, or is this another episode of what I have coined 'Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome'?


Analysis:

Abdulmutallab certainly fits the 'Self-Induced Jihadi' profile - he is young, intelligent, educated, AND "inspired" - according to his entry visa he was flying from Nigeria to the United States for a "religious seminar".

The suspect had been in a law enforcement-intelligence database but was not on the government's no-fly list. According to a federal situational awareness bulletin: "The subject is claiming to have extremist affiliation and that the device was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used."

BRILLIANT - we have apparently returned to the pre-9/11 mindset. There's your Federal government taking care of you.


Technical Analysis:

I am a Special Forces engineer - I have extensive training and experience in what we refer to as 'field expedients'.

The suspect told authorities that he had explosive powder taped to his leg and used a syringe of chemicals to mix with the powder that was to cause explosion. This is of concern because it is a method of mixing that is consistent with terror techniques.

The trouble with this sort of improvised explosives is that they are not reliable, and are very difficult to initiate. Factors such as temperature, ambient pressure and relative humidity affect chemical reactions. A chemical mixture that may have initiated perfectly well in a hot, dry desert climate like Yemen obviously failed to produce results in a jetliner at altitude, thankfully.

The popular television show Mythbusters put these 'MacGyver'-type energetics to the test: in one episode, they tried to replicate how MacGyver once blew a man-sized hole in a wall with one gram of sodium reacting with water. The MythBusters placed sodium in a gel capsule, placed it in a bottle full of warm water, placed the bottle against a cinder block wall, and tamped it with sand. One gram of sodium was not powerful enough to damage the wall (or even the bottle it was in), and 100 grams of sodium was also not enough. The MythBusters then used 500 grams of more-reactive potassium placed inside a cannon-like contraption to direct all the force onto the wall, but still failed to cause any damage. The MythBusters finally resorted to using C4 high explosive to demolish the wall.

CALL IT WHAT IT IS - TERRORISM

Political correctness is what got our soldiers killed at Fort Hood.

Before the attack nobody wanted to call Hasan out as a Muslim extremist - even though he was transmitting in all directions buzzwords and ideology sympathetic to the al Qaeda cause - and incredibly, even AFTER the attack they're STILL hesitant to call him out as a Muslim Terrorist.

GENERAL "BLACKJACK" PERSHING

General of the Armies of the United States John Joseph Pershing was the only soldier to be promoted in his own lifetime to the highest rank ever held in the United States Army—General of the Armies

Pershing led the American Expeditionary Force in World War I and was regarded as a mentor by the generation of American generals who led the United States Army in Europe during World War II, including George C. Marshall, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Omar N. Bradley, and George S. Patton.

Prior to World War I, General Pershing served in the Philippines, during the Moro Insurrection. At that time there were a number of terrorist attacks on the United States forces by Muslim extremists.

So General Pershing captured 50 Moro terrorists and had them tied to posts for execution. He then had his men bring in two pigs and slaughter them in front of the now horrified terrorists.

Muslims detest pork because they believe pigs are filthy animals. Some of them simply refuse to eat it, while others wont even touch pigs at all, nor any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig, its meat, its blood, etc, is to be instantly barred from paradise (and those virgins) and be doomed to Hell.

The soldiers then soaked their bullets in the pigs blood, and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad. The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorists bodies and covered them in pig blood, entrails, etc. They let the 50th man go. And for the next forty-two years, there was not a single Muslim extremist attack anywhere in the world.

In the aftermath of a horror like Fort Hood, civilized people ask themselves, "What's going on?"

I wish to explore a phenomena I have labeled "Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome (SJS).

I'm sure the shrinks have a better word for it. When I say Jihad, I'm using the term almost for lack of a better word. That is, not Jihad in the original Islamic concept but in a larger, more symbolic meaning. While SJS certainly seems prevalent amongst members the Muslim community, but it is by no means constrained to those of the Muslim religion.

What I'm calling SJS is some kind of inner struggle inspired by religion, politics, philosophy, compounded by flawed logic and fueled by rage & frustration, that manifests itself by extreme & very lethal acts of violence.





Let me make something perfectly clear – the Fort Hood shootings were an act of terrorism, perpetuated by American Traitor and Islamic Fundamentalist terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan. The fact that he was homegrown in no way differentiates from anything al Qaeda has pulled off other than the fact that he was a self-starter.

Consider, for example, Hasan’s choice of weaponry:



The FN Five-Seven — manufactured by FN Herstal, is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for a 5.7x28mm rifle cartridge. The weapon is popular in law enforcement SWAT roles, where criminals wearing body armor may be encountered.


A hallmark of Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome is extraordinary and extremely lethal means of inflicting mass casualties over a relatively brief period of time.


Of course the PC Police are going to jump all over me for using the term ‘jihad’ in connection with terrorism – to this I have two things to say: A) I am not now, nor have I ever been, “politically correct”, and B) I am not limiting “Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome” to Muslims.




According to my contemplations, Oklahoma City Bombers Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were consumed by Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome.

The Turner Diaries, a novel written in 1978 by William Luther Pierce (former leader of the white Nationalist organization National Alliance) under the pseudonym "Andrew Macdonald" depicting a violent revolution in the United States which leads to the overthrow of the United States federal government, nuclear war, and, ultimately, to the extermination of all Jews and non-whites.

Those inflicted by SJS are mostly young males who view themselves as oppressed:



The 7 July 2005 suicide bombing attack on London's public transport system was carried out by four British Muslim men, Mohammad Sidique Khan (age 30 - of Pakistani descent), Shehzad Tanweer (age 22 - of Pakistani descent), Hasib Hussain (age 18 - of Pakistani descent), and Germaine Lindsay (19) (of Jamaican descent, converted to Islam), all of whom were motivated by Britain's involvement in the Iraq War.


Those inflicted by SJS view themselves as soldiers, although they belong to no army:

An exception to the angry young male stereotype for SJS inflicted individuals is 88-year old James Wenneker von Brunn, indicted suspect of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting incident:







von Brunn was charged and indicted in federal court on June 11, 2009, with seven counts of first-degree murder and firearms violations, four which make him eligible for the death penalty.
















According to the six-page indictment, von Brunn entered the building and shot security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns, who died from his injuries.









von Brunn is a white supremacist and Holocaust denier. von Brunn holds a BSc in Journalism, served as a PT Boat commander during World War II, worked as an advertising executive and film producer for twenty years and was a member of MENSA, the high-IQ society.

von Brunn is also the author of many antisemitic essays, created an antisemitic website called The Holy Western Empire, and is the author of a 1999 self-published book, Kill the Best Gentiles, which praises Adolf Hitler and denies the Holocaust. He is an Obama citizenship conspiracy theorist, is vehemently opposed the Iraq War, and feels that the September 11 attacks were an "inside job".


Although operating under flawed, confused logic, those inflicted with Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome are typically persons of higher intelligence.


A feeling of righteousness pervades the thought process of those succumbing to SJS:

His accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, did not suffer from SJS – he is living proof that young minds are impressionable, and that a teenager can be convinced to do almost anything.


A final word – do not think that because I have identified SJS as some kind of mental condition, that this translates into: “These people are mentally ill and therefore are victims themselves.” Have a little faith – you don’t read STORMBRINGER to be exposed to this kind of nonsense.

Those who succumb to Self-Induced Jihad Syndrome are a special type of criminal - a type of serial killer, and they are also terrorists – and they need to be treated the same way.

Some thoughts on appropriate punishment for these types of criminals? I like the way Charles Barkley said it; “If I was Governor, there wouldn’t be a Death Row, there’d be a Death WEEK.”

I was out in the field this afternoon when the news broke on the shootings at Fort Hood. By the time I returned to the office and logged on, I learned the terrible news.

The immediate reaction in the room was that this must be PTSD. Of course, the first reports indicated three gunmen – this turned out to be wrong, of course, but I commented that PTSD is a solitary phenomena; it does not manifest itself in groups.

As it turned out, this just might be the first ever recorded case of PRE-TSD; it turns out that Hasan was under orders, but had not yet deployed.


This event is very disturbing, on so many levels. The Army is my family; I bleed green. When the Army takes it like this, everyone in our extended Army family hurts - BAD.


I find it difficult to concentrate this evening; it is hard to write this post. Like my mentor Doc Cheasty used to say, "This is a hard suck, man."


Back in September I posted WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. My premise has not changed: America is seeing an increase in the tempo of domestic jihad-inspired terrorist self-starters.

In addition to the three cases I detailed on 26 September, here are some other notable developments 2009 has produced:


May 12, 2009, Oussama Kassir was convicted of charges related to his participation in an effort to establish a jihad training camp in Oregon and his operation of several terrorist Web sites containing instructions about how to make bombs and poisons. Kassir was found guilty of all 11 charges against him, including providing material support to al-Qaeda and distributing information on explosives and weapons of mass destruction.


May 20, 2009, four individuals - James Cromitie, David Williams, Onta Williams and Laguerre Payen - were arrested on charges arising from a plot to detonate explosives near a synagogue in the Bronx, N.Y., and to shoot Stinger surface-to-air guided missiles at military planes located at a the National Guard Base at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, N.Y. On June 2, 2009, all four defendants were charged in an eight-count indictment and face potential life in prison, if convicted.

All of them converted to Islam while in prison.




April 28, 29, 2009, five individuals -- Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, brothers Dritan Duka, Shain Duka and Eljvir Duka and Serdar Tatar -- received sentences ranging from 33 years in prison, to life in prison plus 30 years, for plotting to kill U.S. soldiers in an armed attack on the military base in Fort Dix, New Jersey. All five individuals were convicted at trial in December 2008.

These terrorist pigs get their day in court - the many victims of terrorism do not enjoy that option.







On April 30, 2009, Ali al-Marri pleaded guilty to conspiracy to provide material support to al-Qaeda, admitting that he attended terrorist training camps, learned al-Qaeda tradecraft and was dispatched by al-Qaeda to carry out its terrorist objectives in America.

To be fair, part of my personal philosophy views all terrorists as the same, regardless of ideological or political stance. That is all posturing. Example: in the 1980s the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya mounted a bombing campaign against US and British targets in Europe. Several of the bombings were carried out on their behalf by the Baader-Meinhof gang, a secular group of Communists, who typically embrace aetheism and actively persecute religion.

Also in the 1980s, the Provisional Irish Republican Army, a group of largely Catholic membership, received support and training from not only Libya and other Arab terrorist groups, but also the Soviet Union.





Question: What is the difference between Timothy McVeigh and John Allen Muhammad?


Answer: Muhammed hasn't been executed yet.







That is the ONLY difference.




It is all the same; terrorism is always the same. It doesn't matter whether it's Islamic-themed, or Neo-Nazi, or Communist-inspired, terrorism is always the same: it is sheer lunacy, plain and simple. The terrorist ethos if flawed logic. They cry out "Injustice!" and yet they are willing to commit the most horrific crimes in the world, in the name of equality and fairness. Eh???


A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist, and they are all scum.


As for the Fort Hood shooter, Nadal Hasan, as one officer's wife said, "I wish his name was Smith."

The Army families at Fort Hood are so sick and tired of this war; pushed upon us by Islamic Fundamentalist terrorists, and yet that wife knows the deal about terrorists.


For Americans who don't know about it, who've never been over there: this is a little taste of what Israel experiences, all the time.

This day in History - November 4, 1979 - Iranian Revolutionary Guards storm the U.S. embassy compound in Tehran.

This was the opening shot of the current war of Islamic Fundamentalists on America; thirty years ago today.



Student followers of the Ayatollah Khomeini send shock waves across America when they storm the U.S. embassy in Tehran. The radical Islamic fundamentalists took 90 hostages. Days later, Iran's provincial leader resigned, and the Ayatollah Khomeini, the leader of Iran's fundamentalist revolutionaries, took full control of the country--and the fate of the hostages.




Here's how it worked: a bunch of enraged university students stormed the US Embassy, took the place down. Ayatollah looks over there and says, "YOU DID W-H-A-A-A-A-T? HOLY SHIT! ARE YOU FRIKKIN' CRAZY ? ? ? NOW THE U.S. IS GOING TO GO HOG-WILD ON US ! ! !"


Two days later, NOTHING HAPPENS . . .











This man balked . . .












Two weeks after the storming of the embassy, the Ayatollah began to release all non-U.S. captives, and all female and minority Americans, citing these groups as among the people oppressed by the United States government. The remaining 52 captives were left at the mercy of the Ayatollah for the next 14 months.



President Jimmy Carter was unable to diplomatically resolve the crisis, and on April 24, 1980, he ordered a disastrous rescue mission in which eight U.S. military personnel were killed and no hostages rescued.




It was the absolute low point of American prestige and honor around the world in the post-Vietnam era. I still remember feelings of confusion, how I hung my head in shame.




Three months later, the former shah died of cancer in Egypt, but the crisis continued. In November 1980, Carter lost the presidential election to Republican Ronald Reagan. Soon after, with the assistance of Algerian intermediaries, successful negotiations finally began between the United States and Iran.










You can say whatever you want about the man - Ronald Reagan got a LOT of respect from the Bad Guys.











On January 20, 1981--the day of Reagan's inauguration--the United States freed almost $3 billion in frozen Iranian assets and promised $5 billion more in financial aid. Minutes after Reagan was sworn in, the hostages flew out of Iran on an Algerian airliner, ending their 444-day ordeal. The next day, Jimmy Carter flew to West Germany to greet them on their way home.

I guarantee that if - three days after our Embassy had been taken down - Jimmy Carter had flown the 82D over there and dropped them onto DZ Tehran, we wouldn't be putting up with ten percent of the bullshit we're having to deal with right now in the Sand Pile.

World Trade Center in New York Bombed, February 26, 1993 New York - Six people were killed and more than 1,000 are injured in this terrorist attack. A group of Muslim terrorists are arrested after a rented van packed with explosives and driven into the World Trade Center's underground parking garage.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Seven people killed; Three terrorist groups: Islamic Movement for Change, the Tigers of the Gulf, and the Combatant Partisans of God claim responsibility for the bombing of this military center.

US military quarters Khobar Towers in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia bombed - 19 American soldiers killed, 500 more people were wounded. The Movement for Islamic Change claimed responsibility for the bombing.

U.S. Embassies bombed August 07, 1998 simultaneously Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - more than 5,000 people were injured and 224 were killed when the buildings that they were working in collapsed during the explosions.

USS Cole Bombed at dock in Aden Yemen October 12 2000 - 17 U.S. Navy seamen killed when the explosion blew a 20 by 40 foot hole in the side of the ship.

Then of course there's the big one . . . September 11, 2001 New York City, Washington, DC, Shanksville Pennsylvania - World Trade Center is Destroyed and the Pentagon is Attacked - in total 2,993 people, including the hijackers, died in the attacks.



We are under attack. Perhaps a better name for what we've got is 'The One Hundred Years War' . . .
