UNBELIEVABLE . . .

Overheard while waiting in line at the US Post Office, Podunkville . . . deep in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey:

Sweet Little Old Lady: "I'd like to buy some stamps, and I don't want those ones with the Simpsons on them. I don't like the Simpsons."

Post Office Lady: "Here's this one, it's nice."

Sweet Little Old Lady: "What is it?"

Post Office Lady: "A Jewish Holiday."

Sweet Little Old Lady: "Oh that's nice! My Jewish friends will like that!"

I shit you not, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury . . .

  5. Postal clerks are a never ending source of (mis)information. Last year I was in line behind a woman trying to send a package to South Korea. The clerk confidently informed her that no US Mail was allowed to South Korea because we were still at war with them.
