WAS MYSTERY CONTRAIL FROM CHINESE MISSILE?

I purposely waited for all the hoopla to calm down before tackling this Mystery Contrail business . . .

Here's the official Party line, from the State-controlled Left-Wing Mainstream Media:

PENTAGON: ‘MYSTERY MISSILE’ CONTRAIL WAS PROBABLY AIRPLANE

WASHINGTON(AP) The Pentagon says that an airplane and not a missile launch was the likely cause of a large vapor trail in the skies off Southern California’s coast.

KCBS/KCAL’s Sky 2 taped the vapor trail that many viewers thought resembled the cloudy track of a missile in flight. But military officials said they did not know of any rockets being launched in the area.

And here's the intel analysis, from the Hot Sheets:

from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin:

EXPERTS: MYSTERY CONTRAIL WAS FROM CHINESE MISSILE
'Muted response' was decision 'made by the President himself'

"The decision to officially announce that North America was not threatened . . . and all the excitement was due to an aircraft leaving a contrail is a decision that reaches beyond the four-star general level and goes directly to a decision made by the commander-in-chief." - Dr. Lyle J. Rapacki of Sentinel Intelligence Services, LLC.

So what have we got? Depending on who you listen to, it was either a harmless contrail from a jet, or it was a missile - a very big rocket - possible launched from a submarine. A lot of reputable witnesses believe it is the later.

And if it was a missile launch - this leads to further questions: WHO, WHAT (what is it - a missile or a jet contrail?), (we already know WHERE & WHEN) and WHY -

WHO has this kind of capability? and WHO has the motivation to execute such a bold move?

and

WHY?

"We must question the timing of this shot across our bow. The president was abroad being diplomatic, which means trying to placate China which is becoming overly concerned with our handling a totally out-of-control deficit in spending." - retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Jim Cash.

And in case you're wondering - yes, China DOES have nuclear submarines . . . . they have been busy over the past decade:

  1. If this is a submarine-launched missile, it is almost certainly an American missile launched to test missile defenses in the Pacific.

Why the military won't fess up is the mystery. Most likely, the test failed.

  2. My bet would be the ChiComs. They have a stake in current US conditions. They have the moxie, the finesse to do something like this for a calculated effect. Think: death of a thousand cuts.

The NorKos have all they can handle in their own neighborhood. Not enough resources and not enough chi to pull something off with any subtlety. Think: death by 2x4 bludgeon.

Third dark interpretation is that the US did it themselves. Nothing like a good scare, a contrived emergency to divert our attention from other dysfunction. Smoke and mirrors. An old and effective way to manipulate the citizens. Think: red herring.

    Göring tells about this dynamic:

"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

  3. Lockheed never owned up to the stealth fighter until long after it had been operational.

NS Long Beach was "closed" as part of base closures but is still rather active for private companies and isn't far from Lockheed offices or the launch location. FWIW, friend's dad was a submariner and when they closed Mare Island he retired and went to work at Mare Island for General Dynamics...

There are/were a series of NOTAM filings (Notice to Airmen), some still existing, for parts of ocean around there filed by NAWCWD.

Could easily have just been a test of something that somebody doesn't want to talk about yet. Chinese idea seems pretty unlikely by comparison. Simplest explanation is most likely, in my book anyway.

  4. It's not a missile launch, much as the conspirator side of me would like it to be. The uncut footage shows the contrail (and whatever is causing it) "ascending" for several long, slow minutes. The only thing which could move that slowly is a jet. Because of the skewed angle from the news copter, the contrail appeared to be shooting straight up, but this was a factor of the angle of observation, an optical illusion. Relax, boyz.

  5. The angle of ascent and shape of the contrail is typical of a surface-based (or sea-based) missile launch. The shuttle leaves contrails of a similar nature as the fuel is spent. And high performance jets certainly don't make contrails like that even though they are capable of a high ascent angle. Also, the angle of ascent is too steep for passenger or cargo aircraft. Not buying the aircraft BS.

  6. jet- straight contrails
    missile - spiral contrails

  7. What means this confusion amongst the Craft?

This is who it actually is:

  8. WHY?

Maybe because the day before the US had just announced a new round of "quantitative easing" which was a huge F U to whoever was owed money by the US... the resultant inflation (devaluing the dollar so each is worth less) is just theft by any other name and on a government scale
