REST IN PEACE, WARRIOR

Staff Sergeant William J. Guarnere (April 28, 1923 – March 8, 2014) was an NCO with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during World War II


His awards and decorations.


SSG Guarnere is the definition of an American Hero . . . God Bless him and all his Brothers of the Greatest Generation . . .

    Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 13, and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 2101 S. 21st St., Philadelphia. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Edmond's Church, 2130 S. 21st St.
    I will be at the church Friday morning.
