What this means, I'm not sure, but it is taken as a compliment and a vote of confidence. I thank you all. Personally, I don't care for the tag 'follower' because I am not a cult leader - although I am a member of a cult. If I were in charge of the Blogger thingie the category to click would be called Team Members.
We were stuck at 97 for literally years then about a month ago picked up #98. Then yesterday we got over the hump and we're at 100. I suspect this has something to do with a gentleman I made acquaintance with yesterday via this blog:
Wirecutter and friend
Wirecutter is a man after my own heart - get this: first he gasses one of the long-haired, maggot-infested OWS 99%-ers (after the maggot had advanced on Wirecutter, and placed his hands on the door of Wirecutter's truck); then he goes ahead and chronicles the event in the pages of his most worthy blog Knuckledraggin my life away.
Wirecutter, I know you're out there. We haven't met - yet - and when we do I will make sure to keep my hands where you can see them and conduct myself in a calm, orderly manner. Because no good deed goes unpunished, let it be known to all & sundry that for your tremendous act of class you have been bestowed the title of Worthy Hero of the Culture Wars - you may click HERE to view your reward.
As always, I encourage members of Team STORMBRINGER to send links and items of general interest - I don't post all of them immediately but rarely do I not post them. The long-awaited analysis of the so-called OWS 99%-er "movement" is to follow, but first I have to get out and do battle with the back forty, and Mrs. StormBringer's Satanic Honey-Do list . . .

You are NOT a cult! A cult has a magnetic personality at it's center (Hitler, Jim Jones) whereas you have a philosophy at the center. (duty, honor, country, Constitution). There is a difference!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100th!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think I had something to do about it but I'm pretty sure it was your excellent blog - great content, your way with words, and the attitude of an eternal warrior. I know I visit every day.
And thanks for your kind words. Hopefully one day we will meet.

I think [yeah right, don't go there] that Kenny and you should schedule a meet up at Gun Blogger Rendezvous VII in Reno next Sept.
ReplyDeleteI'll buy the first 11 rounds and supply ammo.
Great find in getting Wirecutter - he write a terrific blog. Great info, interesting articles, and has one helluva dog to boot! Wish the guy was my neighbor.
