A recent study published in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy concluded that there is a negative correlation between gun ownership and violent crime in countries internationally (more guns = less crime).

Nations with strict gun control laws have substantially higher murder rates than those who do not in general. In fact, the 9 European nations with the lowest gun ownership rate have a combined murder rate THREE TIMES that of the 9 European nations with the highest gun ownership rate!

UNITED KINGDOM CASE STUDY - “Most violent country in EU”

Kitchen knives are being used in as many as half of all stabbings in the United Kingdom and has prompted a group of doctors to call for a ban on long pointed kitchen knives.

89% Drop IN BURGLARIES AFTER MANDATORY GUN LAW

In 1982, Kennesaw, Georgia passed a law requiring heads of households to keep at least one firearm in the house. The residential burglary rate subsequently dropped 89% in Kennesaw, compared to just 10.4% drop in Georgia as a whole. Today, the violent crime rate in Kennesaw is still 85% lower than Georgia's or the national average. Source: City Rating

Final Word

The Democrats and their willing sycophants in the Left-Leaning Mainstream Media will not engage in a debate on guns concerning the truths about safety and crime statistics mentioned above. This is because:

GUN CONTROL IS NOT ABOUT GUNS.

GUN CONTROL IS ABOUT CONTROL.

Seek firearms training, carry concealed, stay safe and spread the word . . .

  1. I think that the "Two ways...." pic is from Oleg Volk who has some great pro gun rights posters.

Second...Reagan, for all his fine words, had no problem infringing upon gun rights. He started much of it as governor of CA and then signed the Brady Bill.

Sadly, that was one of the few faults Ronnie had.

  2. The FBI – the source of that “466 in 100,000″ figure (the number is actually from 2007) – defines violent crime as murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The British definition is much looser, including all crimes against the person and sexual offences, hence the much higher number. So already your picture is bullshit.

11,000 gun murders in America last year and only 35 in Britain. Check your facts!

  3. Whoever wrote this is an idiot. Violent crime has an entirely different definition in the UK than the U.S.

In the U.S violent crime is defined by only four offences, they are : Forcible rape, murder, aggravated assault and burglary.

In the UK the definition for violent crime involves 6 whole pages of legislation and includes fairly trivial offences such as pinching someone's ass or stealing a bicycle. So of course the rate is likely to be higher in Britain. When you look at the U.S definition alone; the U.S has higher rates of rapes, murders, assaults and burglary than the UK. But hey why let the facts get in the way of a good dose of bull and NRA propaganda hey?

  6. Lol. Reagan banned assault rifles, and signed gun control legislation as the governor of California because rhe Black Panthers exercised their right to open carry.

Then seriously how many mass ahootings were ever stopped by an armed citizen? The doctor in Pennsylvania is the last one. When was the last one before that?

You're really gonna use a dample soze that is insignificant when compared to eachother.

As typical, formal logic isn't a trait of conservatives.

Gun control is not, I repeat is not a complete ban on the 2nd Amendment. No right is open ended. None. There are limitations to ALL of them. Ever heard of libel and slander? Human sacrifice is illegal no matter what religion you think you're a part of, even of the victim is willing to die for it in the ritual.

What loons like you are is this, anarchists. Not freedom fighters. Not patriots. ANARCHISTS. And completely delusional.

  8. Absolute horse shit!!! You don't get anywhere near the gun crimes in Britain as you do in the USA purely because the guns aren't here. The only time you will see guns regular would be in a airport. Or in Northern Ireland (ira). Crimes in Britain mainly consist of a couple of drunks having a fight (fists) on a Friday night or a unarmed burglary to feed a habit (drugs).
