I have no idea what a "Ruby Sensor" might be, but the pods under the wings of a U-2 can contain almost anything. I used to know what the weight limit was. Portions of the skins can be replaced with, e.g., camera ports.
ReplyDeleteSeeing this picture at Theo's confused me, because I'd never seen the ELINT pod.
