OPERATION WETBACK
was a 1954 repatriation project of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to remove about 1.2 million illegal Mexican immigrants ("wetbacks") from the southwestern United States.

  1. When we won the Mexican- American War we should never left Mexico City. Then We wouldn't be dealing with these illegals. Instead, we would have never let the situation get where it is now. Of course hind sight is 20/20.

  2. I agree. Thirteen more southern states in the US, plus probably Cuber and Puto Rico and we'd have a great time vacationing in the Southern United States Cancun area.

    Screw Panama. We coulda cut a new, big canal across the southern end and had a great resort community down there.

    The former Mexican states would be enjoying wealth, laws and jobs.

    The Rio Grande would also be unpoluted.
