SPECIAL FORCES SOLDIER TO POSTHUMOUSLY RECIEVE MEDAL OF HONOR TODAY

Staff Sergeant Robert James Miller was a 24-year-old weapons sergeant in A Company, 3d Battalion, 3d Special Forces Group.

He died in eastern Afghanistan during a security patrol near the village of Barikowt in the Nari District of Konar Province near the Pakistani border.

SSG Miller joined the Army in 2003; he was on his second deployment to Afghanistan when he gave his life.

  3. awarded by the clown.... I would have thought that he would have gone on THE VIEW or something rather then have to honor our military.
    Chuck Norris had a wonderful series of articles about how he avoided anything to do with Boy Scout ceremonies. He went on THE VIEW instead of attending the BS birthday celebration.

  4. Believe me when I tell you that I disagree with President Obama's policies as much as anyone that frequents this blog, but ...

    Please respect the office if not the man. Liberals that called President Bush a Nazi or an idiot didn't do anyone any good by using such language. Calling President Obama a clown is no better, and such a misdirection does disservice to the memory of the man this post honors.

    God bless The United States of America, all her elected leaders - even those with whom I disagree, and warriors like SSG Miller who fight in her name.
